We are doing an adults only trip in late august and staying at BCV. Looking for suggestions for some of you favorite places to eat without kids. I am not looking to do buffets since we did them our last trip with the kids. I am thinking that we will be there for 6 nights and 7 days with only going to the parks for 4 days.

There are several good restaurants for adults very handy to the BC. Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club, Flying Fish at Boardwalk and Il Mulino at the Swan are favorites.

If you like fish definitely don't miss Bluezoo at the Dolphin, it's incredibly good! It's also a little cheaper than signature restaurants but just as good quality. We also really love Boma at AKL but if you don't want a buffet you could go for Jiko, we haven't tried it (yet!) but everything I've heard about it has been great!
If you get dinner over at the Grand (Citricos, Narcoosee, etc.) stop by Mizner's Lounge after, it's right behind where the band sets up and has great music and drinks.
Also you could spend an afternoon eating and drinking around the world in Epcot.
I would also spend a day or at least an afternoon/evening in Disney Springs. There's some amazing sounding new places there (Morimoto, Boathouse, etc.) plus live music/entertainment and shops. If you save some room you could stop by the Ganachery for the best chocolate truffles or Vivoli Gelato (we just went to Florence last summer and this gelato is the real deal!).

Have fun! :)

1) Obviously, Victoria and Albert's
2) Boathouse is good and quite iconic
3) Morimoto Asia is solid, but unspectacular, Pan Asian cuisine.
4) CA Grill is loud but can be romantic
5) Artist Point is very romantic but food quality has been inconsistent. Still, it's a very nice place to dine
6) Il Mulino is very good.
7) Jiko is topnotch in every regard. And it's sister restaurant, Sanaa, is a hidden gem.

We love dining at the Swan and Dolphin and ending the evening at Jellyrolls. We love Shula's, bluezoo and Il Mulino. And we find them to be basically kid free compared to most WDW restaurants.

This! Saved me some typing! :thumbsup2 (Except I haven't tried Morimoto's personally, and would also add in Narcoossee's as an option.)

Citricos is very nice. Not cheap, but nice. Check out the new eateries at Disney Springs, there is some buzz about the new choices there. :earsboy:

Yachtsman, Bluezoo, Citrocos, and depending on what is open perhaps something new that is opening at DS.

All the suggestion are spot on. I just wanted to add to be sure not to expect an adults only experience at most of these places. Being in WDW kids will be present in just about every eatery on site. And you can't always count on the parents to control the kids and ensure appropriate behavior either.

I remember one dinner at Yachtsman later in the evening where we had to contend with our neighbor's 4-5 year old child consistently encroaching on my wife's lap during dinner. Mom and Dad did nothing to stop the child even after we said something to them. It was our anniversary dinner and I can tell you it was less than ideal.

I understand that feeling. I was at Yachtsman before and had some very younger children running around us the entire time we ate. Also had a baby crying next to me my entire meal at chef de france. I know their will be children no matter where but I wanted to see what people enjoyed when they were without them. I wanted some more adult themed places that tend to serve better food then just the normal places and buffets.

Good point. In general though the later reservations (8-ish) will have fewer children around.

Our favorite signature is Citricos :). But we also love Flying Fish, those are our two favorite signatures!

I'm echoing other folks, but my 6 nights would include (in no particular order):
1. Artist Point
2. Jiko
3. Shula's (I actually haven't eaten here but my husband did recently and loved it)
4. Eating/Drinking my way through the World Showcase as @disneyktee mentioned or doing Le Cellier (Some say it's overrated but we've always enjoyed our filets, sides, apps) and then do desserts and drinks at the World Showcase
5. Bluezoo (haven't eaten here either but would choose it over some of the other signature restaurants I have tried)
6. V&A's if the price point isn't too high - it is amazing!! Or California Grill

I wasn't a fan of Narcoossee's. I saw Sanaa mentioned and that was also a good meal. I would give Morimoto's a try if you want to add some variety to your meals. As someone else mentioned, it's Pan-Asian and not amazing, but it's decent. I was really hoping for stronger flavors. The decor was gorgeous.

Let us know what you decide!!

Ragland road in dtd is good, food is very good and the drinks are great

In the BCV area, the Swan/Dolphin restaurants are definitely the best IMHO. In our order of preference: bluezoo (so awesome), Kimono's (best sushi on property), Il Mulino (best Italian on property). We haven't tried Shula's.

We also like Trattoria al Forno and Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. In EP, Monsieur Paul. DHS, Hollywood Brown Derby. Other resorts - Artist Point and Jiko. DTD - The Boathouse and Morimoto Asia (sushi wasn't great, but spare ribs and Peking duck are AMAZING)

the oak grilled filet at Jiko's was wonderful.. I loved Yachtsman steakhouse (although I don't see the porterhouse for one anymore). loved Narcosse's. the one hidden gem not mentioned yet and is only 1 credit on the DDP is Grand Floridian Cafe. the steak there is very good and I love the atmosphere.
