Taking an adult only trip to check out most of the DVC resorts if time allows. We have an AP so will probably pop in the parks too but wont ride any rides. Since we wont have any kids with us what are the must do things I wouldn't normally be able to do with a ride loving kid in tow?

What adult only places are there?

If you were doing a DVC presentation would you go to SSR or Epcot or ? Or is the super cool over the shoulder bag and swag not worth the time? Do you just sign up in person?

If your goal was to visit all resorts (except AKV, BWV, BCV) to get a feel for the transportation options at each resort and the ambiance is there an order in which you would visit them in? We are currently doing a split stay at BLT first night and CCV the 2nd night. We will have the entire day Saturday and Sunday and until 3pm on Monday.

What else?

I am considering TOTWL on our BLT night since my kid doesn't really love fireworks anymore

If you are hopping into a park... might as well ride cosmic rewind! lol

If I am in Epcot, I am riding that puppy every time
I actually thought about that this morning. I am a I can skip a ride person, I normally do when we take my granddaughter and let my son ride twice with rider swap. But Cosmic Rewind was such a different experience than any other roller coaster Ive ever been on.

I love our annual passes because it lets us hop into epcot on our "off" days, ride cosmic rewind, then leave lol

Maybe check out some of the cooler bars and lounges, like Trader Sam’s or abracadabar. Check out the new Poly tower. Eat at places you wouldn’t want to take kids, like California Grill or Shiki Sai. Or do a monorail meal crawl, where you get a food and drink at each resort. I personally wouldnt waste time on such a short trip at the DVC presentation. And this is just me but I couldn’t be that close to the parks and not pop in lol.

Cant believe I can eat somewhere where there isn't french fries!

Lots of great recommendations here. Victoria & Alberts is great if you like a high end foodie experience. I also like Monsieur Paul and Shiki Sai (both of which have window tables that will allow you to watch Luminous, if you time them right, you probably want to plan to get there early and wait for a table?). There's another high end Japanese place we haven't made it to yet that I'm looking to try Takumi-Tei (sic). Not sure if the new Epcot lounge will be open in time for your arrival?

if you’re at CCV, gotta eat at Geyser Point (Bison Burger so good), and/or Whispering Canyon

Have dinner at Toppalinios at Riv

I’ve done Wicked Wind Down, it was nice to experience but wouldn’t regularly do

Those are my two cents

Eat dinner at Jiko and/or Victoria and Alberts
Jiko is a no for my non adventurous husband. I will have to look up Victoria and Alberts, Ive never heard of it.

I wanted to go to Shiki Sai last time but we opted for Space 220 since my son was with us. We are going over memorial weekend, I think that the cool new adult only place is opening in early June.

Victoria and Alberts is even more adventurous than that lol I don't even know what I'm eating half the time 🤣🤣, but it's damn delicious and service is extraordinary.

With that being said, probably the best dining experience I've ever had in my life (tied with Remy) Pretty sure it's the same Chef too.

It always wins awards (maybe even a Michelin star before, don't quote me on that) It's at VGF and extremely hard to get into, couldnt get in last time and we were staying there. One of the dining rooms (queens) i believe only has 4 tables. The reservation system is completely seperate and if you're interested in can tell you how it works

I don’t think you could get into V&A’s at this point. And I think it’s a $600+ meal, and that’s probably underestimating.

Trader Sam’s is super fun, but you will spend a lot of time just waiting to get on the waitlist.

I have a feeling you’ll prefer the vibe of BWV and Crescent Lake to the convenience of BLT. We just went there and couldn’t get out fast enough. If you are a MK heavy family, it’s nice, but I don’t think you have to own there to stay. Same for GF. I prefer that walk to the parking lot of BLT.

WL is a vibe all on its own, so you’ll either love it or not. Head upstairs at the front entrance and find the little fireplace and enjoy some down time, Ride the boats, do the monorail, but honestly I don’t see a reason to sell it for BLT.

We dont eat meat so Id be spending $600 for vegetables... pass. Even if we ate meat I wouldn't spend this much on a meal unless I got to eat the meal with the whole fab 7 sitting down with us Thanksgiving family style the whole entire meal.

I'm coming in on Sunday with a boatload of family members (in-laws)! It won't be nearly the relaxing adult trip that you have planned.

My 2 cents:
Day 1, go to Epcot on monorail, enjoy a bit of F&G festival fare, ride Cosmic Rewind. Maybe check out DVC center in Canada, definitely enjoy The Voices of Liberty at the American pavilion (I never miss this).
Exit IG, ride skyliner to RIV. Get Gelato by the water and check out the grounds, go to lobby for a coffee and look in the (small) gift shop there.
Bus to MK, maybe walk back to room for a break. Boat or monorail ride to Poly that evening, eat at Wailulu in Poly Tower, check out GCH lobby and the (large) gift shop there. Could monorail or walk to VGF from there if desired.
Day 2, Personally I'd spend some time at MK, then boat or bus to WL late morning. Check out lobby and gift shop at CCV and the lobby at BRV. Eat at Geyser Point.
SSR evening/night. Eat at Disney Springs.

Probably much more detail than you wanted or needed 🤣

:worship: This is what I need.. I am like lost kid in candy store at WDW and will get sidetracked very easily on top of having no sense of direction. My husband will just trust I know what Im doing since I spend most of days planning our trips this last few months!
