Adult only trip on Disney dream?

My husband and I (40s) have gone on 2 so far. The first for our honeymoon. Our dining mates were also a married couple. We got along so well we booked the second at a time they'd go as well.
Lots to do. Pick which activities you want to focus on to help - see shows, meet characters, see the movies. We have not checked out the nightlife or adult only areas yet. We didn't feel inundated with the kids around either.
We liked the main beach over the adults only but we checked it out and ate over there.

I think the only way we will do the 4 night instead of the 3 night would be to go in February where the cost is cheaper. Does anyone have experience with the Bahamas in February, seems like it would still be pretty chilly, especially the ocean.

We consistently go on kids only cruises and love them! Plenty of areas to relax in without kids! Not sure about Feb, but we go in January a lot and have had no weather issues. Always warm enough to lay out and dip in the pool. Often the water is a bit chilly at Castaway Cay, but not enough to keep us out or ruin a trip!

The 3 night is booked and paid for. 3 night cruise cash and 4 night at Poly on points. Maybe I’ll book the next one while on the cruise! We’re very excited to check out the dream!

Though there can be if you'd like there to be... I'm very much the kind of person who enjoys the adrenalin rush of "go go go" so we tend to do this even on the ship. But that's the great thing about the ship. If you want to go full tilt from activity to activity there's enough to keep you hopping - and if you would rather slow down, and take it easy that is also really easy to do.

Totally a different feeling doing a cruise compared to a Disney World trip. It is much more relaxed and there isn't the "go go go" mentality.

3 nights is a great first cruise, especially if someone gets seasick. You dock each day and can walk on land if needed. If you like the cruise, you can book another one onboard and get discounts and cruise credits. Longer cruises usually have at least one sea day, which for many are the best part.

I hope you have a wonderful time. Our first cruise was a 4 night because I badly assumed cruises
were boring and for older people. We loved it and I in particular favor it over the parks. You have
a great combo. Hope you enjoy.
