Scribblenauts is a great game and very different from anything else for the DS. No button mashing, just a stylus and your imagination.

I also really enjoy the "Mama" games (Cooking Mama, Gardening Mama). The first two Cooking Mama games are pretty old, so you may be able to find good prices on these. Another game series I really enjoy is the Harvest Moon games. You are a farmer and plant/harvest/sell crops, befriend the townspeople and mine for treasure.

Thanks, I just checked out the Gamefly site! That looks like it would be good to get before our trip, too, so we'd have a couple extra games to play. How fast is their shipping? Does it take long to get another one after you mail one back?

Try GameStop,too. If you stick with the used games, you can bring it back and trade it within a certain time period if you don't like it. Bring your DS to the store and ask to play it for a few minutes until you get a basic feel for how it plays.

Our library has DS games, Wii, and all the other major system games for free!

You get them for a month! That's long enough to try them out before you decide to purchase or if you're like some in my family, long enough to complete the games.

I love Style Savvy, my whole family plays the Pokemon games too. I like puzzle games a great one to try is Puzzle Quest.

You mentioned Brain Age, so assume you also have Brain Age 2? Also I LOVE Big Brain Academy, it's much better than Brain Age to me. I also have Word Coach, Spanish Coach and French Coach. All brain stimulating and educational.

As for the Gamefly..I luck out, I have a distro site in Tampa, so I have a decent turn around, plus they have a cool feature, as soon as the post office scans in they have received it, they automatically send me my next game..BEFORE it even reachs them. If they send games on a Monday, I usually have them Wed, sometimes Thur.
