Adult Disney Themed Rooms?

Nothing, ever. Never in a child's room even.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought the Disney Resorts were moving into a WHOLE NEW territory... :earseek:

:jester:

I thought the same thing!!!:rotfl:

My husband's bathroom is in Classic Winnie the Pooh. Everyone thinks its the kids' bathroom BUT IT'S HIS! (He's the same DH who just won't stop buying Beanie Babies, even though the kids lost interest in them several years ago.) (I think it's a result of oppression by his father during his childhood...his dad wouldn't let him have stuffed animals, much less dolls or little animal figures, because that was too girl-y.)

Our computer room is all Mickey, and I love it! We just moved here, down-sized as empty nesters, so DH let me have one bedroom as "my" Disney room. It's got "Best of Mickey" drapes from the Disney Store, a Mickey Filmstrip border at chair rail height, dark red ("Mickey's pants") below and white ("Mickey's gloves") above. And tons of pictures, attraction posters, etc. Our daybed in here has a plain black comforter with 2 "Best of Mickey" pillows and various plush Disney characters. On our next trip to WDW, I plan to buy 2 Mickey gloves drawer handles (if I can find them) for the closet doors. And of course, the light switch is a Mickey themed picture. Please, I'd love to see anyone's pictures (don't have a digital camera yet)

Our dining room has a Disney theme and I love it. ::yes:: It's my little piece of Disney everyday. There are also little bits of Disney scattered throughout the house in just about every room but that room is devoted only to Disney! :) Fun to read about everyone's rooms!

Not really "themed" but we have a few odds and ends in the kitchen, and in my office at work. I actually kinda like the randomness of the occasional Disney item around the house:earsboy:

hjmmmmmmmmm lets see,, disney wall paper omn desktop,, disney screen savers ,, disney video from last summers trip stays on top of the vcr,, theerre is a sheelf above the comp that has frogs and disney beanies,, whole shelf in our bedroom of disney beenieswould be more but its a small house,, dd cheeted. she did her room in tweety yellow

I would love to have a Disney themed adult room. There is no shame here

The Disney rooms outnumber the others here. The ones without a Disney theme have Disney touches :p

No, but DD and I were talking recently about redecorating her room and this is what she wants..... she want the whole thing painted BLACK (currently it is pink) and she wants a mural of RNR on one wall (her favorite), Space Mountain on another wall, and Fantasmic on another wall!!!! While I love the idea and I am happy that I have created a "Dis Fan", not sure I can handle all that black!!!..............................P

See if you can talk her into dark purple. We painted my DD15's room a deep purple and it almost looks black. We used lime green accents and it's really beautiful.

So far all I have is posters and framed pictures all over my bedroom that involve something Disney. Posters are all of the Princesses and the frames are me with characters or of Cindy's Castle! I'm planning on redecorating it over Thanksgiving, but no clue as too how much Disney will be in it... but it will have different colors of Disney's Behr blues. hehe
