Adult Dining - Is this new?

We are eating at Palo the first night of our cruise (march 17 on the Magic) because it is my birthday. I do get seasick--I had to leave Remy once on the last night of a cruise. Hopefully wearing the patch will help--I didn't do that on my first cruise where I got sick the last night. Fingers crossed!

After multiple cruises, I'd rather dine Palo the first night and miss the mayhem of the main dining rooms the first night.

Yeah, my wife and I love doing Palo on the first night because it's extra empty and a good way to kick off the experience. And as another poster above said, the way it's been on all of our cruises was that you can only book one Palo dinner online, but once you get on the ship, you can ask them about additional reservations. They usually have some cancellations and would love to fill them with somebody else, or at least get on the wait list just in case. :-)

I'm sailing in June and my booking window just opened recently. After I booked my Palo dinner and brunch, I checked the first night of the cruise and an additional Palo dinner was available for me to book, which I did. It was labeled "First Night Palo" I believe and had the explanation about being able to reserve it.
