We love attending adult comedy shows on other cruise lines. Are Disney's any good? It looks like the Ventriloquists tend to do an 18+ adult show..
We are will be on the Magic for Halloween.

Saw a ventriloquist last year it was pretty good, the crowd seemed to agree. The room was full the whole time.

There is usually an adult show of some sort every night around 10:15PM in the Tube. You could check out Navigators from previous cruises to get an idea of the different adult entertainment options throughout the evening.

the "Adult" shows go only as far as "Disney Dirty"

so

no F-bombs. BUT You will get the double entendre's

in 90+ nights on board there have only been 2 shows that really were awful (and NOT family friendly) -- and one was the first show in the WDW theater - he didn't get to do the second show and did not do anything in Rockin Bar D.

Another time after returning from a LONG day in Rome - the entertainer was just not very good - he said he "needed energy from the audience" - that may have been so, but we were lucky to be awake and at the show after seeing Rome in a Day.

Yes, the Disney "adult" entertainment is very tame to say the least. I'm not sure I heard any swears, but there was a lot of suggestive, well, gestures in the adult-only venues.

The funniest was a comedian who claimed that during his interview with Disney casting, he opened with a joke... that Mickey Mouse was the first black billionaire. He said Disney didn't like it and told him not to use that material. They did hire him so that's why I got to see him in the Tube (on the Fantasy). I don't remember his name. I do wonder if he still gets gigs with DCL after that incident?

We had a lot of ventriloquists on the 6-Night+ cruises. In fact, I was wondering if DCL was only getting ventriloquists. (On my last Dream 4-Night, we had a very good magician/illusionist.) As far as ventriloquists, Jeff Dunham is my benchmark. On one of the cruises we had Taylor Mason. His adult show was very suggestive. He even commented on why he couldn't do certain things in the main Walt Disney Theater.

We've had juggler/comedians and also hypnotists. I think they like to rotate the acts across the fleet so people aren't seeing all the same acts. I guess ventriloquists are in.

It just occurred to me that with all of the variety acts we had for the Magic's WBTA cruise that just ended on Saturday -- there was not a single ventriloquist nor hypnotist in the mix!
Wow! (Thank you, DCL)

We liked the ventriloquist on the WBPC, but not the hypnotist. Personally, my favorite entertainers (both adult and family-friendly) are Improv Shmimprov! LOVE.

I'm rather partial to Improv Shmimprov as well. ;)

On the Wonder we checked out the adult only performance by the magician/juggler and it was very funny.

Nothing on the ship is anything more than Disney-dirty (Oh the fun we had with the mixologist discussing drinks like sex on the beach, etc. They have Disney names for those ones).
