Adult Christmas gifts

I am in a family exchange for adults that must be homemade. We have been doing this for years and have gotten so many wonderful things over the years. Some of the gift givers are now gone and these pieces of art or craftware are very treasured. I am at a loss as to what to do for this year. The exchange is with about 15 other extended family members and the gift can end up with any one of them. Therefore it needs to be something a male or female would like and is not a quick, child-like gift. I am will to put alot of time into something and really have a great finished product, just can't think of a thing.

So all you crafty folks any ideas? A large part of the group are outdoorsy men who hunt. The women also love the outdoors. (We have a family cabin with moose walking thru fairly regularly) I would love to incorporate this into the gift but again what to do.

Thanks for any suggestions. You are all such a talented group of folks I thought maybe I could find the perfect gift to start now.

Do you scrap? Maybe an outdoors themed photo album. Doesn't have to be specific, but instead generic, with just nature themed pages.

Do you quilt? Maybe an outdoors themed lap quilt. If you don't quilt, do you crochet or knit? Same thing. Everyone loves a really cozy blanket or quilt to bundle up in this time of year!

Another idea that you could do whether traditional scrapbooking or digiscrapbooking is a family cookbook. You could pull either recipes that are special to your immediate family or the family as a whole and include pictures of the people who either made the dishes or the dishes themselves or events of people eating the dishes. This is something that I am considering for grandparents this year....we'll see.
