Adult Caregivers?

Has anyone hired a local adult caregiver like a certified nursing assistant while visiting Aulani?

I’d appreciate any recommendations or experiences.

My father is an Alzheimer’s patient. He will enjoy the beach and driving tours around the island but I hope to get help watching him a few hours a day.

On luau night he would not sit through a show or be able to eat off a buffet. Swimming is out of the question.

My mother is his main caregiver at home and needs a vacation too!

Have you checked out Visiting Angels? They have this service in CA (a friend uses it for his mother) and it looks like they have a Honolulu, HI location too.

I did want to say my friend pays $30/hr through Visiting Angels

My friend used them (in Alabama) for her mother and just adored them! I didn’t even think of that until I saw this response.
