Does Disney do anything special for adult birthdays? My DBF(who loves Eeyore) is turning 28 while we are in the world. Any suggestions?

in the MK at City Hall - pick up at birthday button.

then he may get little things.

if you have reservations at any of the Disney restuarants tell them that it is his birthday.

if he likes Eeyore - I would suggest doing the breakfast at Crystal Palace (yes it is expensive) with Winne Pooh and friends.

I'm 24 and have had many b-days at DW. I suggest the same...do Crystal Palace. Mention to the CM that it's his bday and that he loves Eeyore. It's Disney, I'm sure that they'll be more than happy to accomodate you and him! They've always accomodated me, as I'm a Pooh Bear fan :Pinkbounc

As others have said Crystal Palace is a good place to eat since he loves Eeyore. I would try to book Crystal Palace as soon as you can and make sure you tell them it's his birthday and also tell them that he loves Eeyore. Also get him that birthday button.

I booked my Birthday Dinner at the 1900 Park Fair, because I wanted a character meal with Suzy and Perla ( they are my favorite characters at WaltDisneyWorld ) I want to have Dinner with my tiny little mice friends on my Birthday :)

For my 29th Birthday I will be in DisneyWorld for a whole week ( 9 full days ), and my birthday is good for that whole week lol > I will be doing other character meals that week. When I booked all these character meals I told them it was my birthday week. Also when I booked my Suzy and Perla Dinner I had them put down that I wanted to see Suzy and Perla on my Birthday :)

I wanted to do Crystal Palace for my Birthday week, but I just had so many character meals booked for that week. I did book a breakfast for the Crystal Palace for Jan 9th. My Birthday week is from Jan 21 to Jan 29th > Disney said they would treat this as a Birthday Breakfast for me he he > I don't know when you will be in DisneyWorld for his Birthday, but after I have my cute little Birthday Breakfast at the Crystal Palace I could always tell you what it was like he he > Have a nice day :)

I had read about getting the birthday button before dh and I went to Disneyworld for the first time, so we made sure to go to MK on his bday.

We had 3 fun things happen...first, we saw Ballou, and dh wanted a photo with him. While I was taking it, Ballou saw the button, pointed it out to the cast member with him, and she had everyone around sing happy bday to dh.

Second, we ate lunch that day at one of the cafeterias. We ordered our lunch and paid for it. When we got to the counter to pick it up, the gal putting our food on the tray saw his button, and added a box of animal crackers to the tray.

Third, we were at the Sword in the Stone ceremony, and Merlin picked dh. As it turned out, Merlin accidentally had his wand set on "bodyguard" so dh was not able to get the sword out, but he was the "bodyguard" for the little girl who was able to pull the sword out.

Needless to say, we're going to be at MK again on dh's bday, and we're getting him the button.

I spent my 45th birthday in Disney World with my sister who made sure that EVERYBODY knew. She got pins at all of the parks for me. We had dinner on my birthday at the 50's Prime Time at Disney/MGM. At the Crystal Palace all of the characters stopped by plus I received a card "signed" by all of the characters. Prince Charming even wished me a happy birthday during the night parade. At the French bakery at Epcot the staff sang Happy Birthday in French. The whole week was a blast! It continued on the 3 night cruise where I received a cake at dinner one night. Epcot and Animal Kingdom pins are different so collect them all. I have never heard "Happy Birthday" as often as I did that week. :cheer2:

Well, I have a credit on FlyI that I have to use before April, well, I thought going to Disney for a short mini 3 day weekend would be a blast. However, my birthday falls on Feb 12th which is a Sunday. So, I was going to arrive Friday afternoon & leave late Sunday night. (Yeah, stinks that I have to fly on my birthday). The catch too is that my boyfriend will be home from Iraq in late January, so it's going to be a special weekend as I would like to put in Valentines Day while we're there.

Anything special that goes on around that week/weekend that I can look into that isn't extremely costly?

I would definitely do what others are saying, such as getting a birthday button and making reservations at the Crystal Palace. Make sure to mention when you make the PS that it's his birthday, then mention it again when you go to check in. We did this for my nephew in 2004 and he got a birthday card, a cupcake with a candle in it, Mickey confetti and the characters gave him extra special time. When my sister and her family went in October a few years ago, it was near my bil's birthday. They were staying at the Polynesian and I called both CRO to have them mark that on the reservation, plus I called the hotel directly and asked if there was anything special they could do when they arrived to their room. There was a cake, balloons, and a card waiting for him when they got to the room. This was a big hit with the kids and when they called to tell me about it, I told them that Mickey must have known it was dad's birthday. When I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in 2003, I went to the Guest Services desk and asked them if there was anyway of getting a birthday card to take to my nephew, as he was turning 4 while I was away. When I got back to my room, there was a signed picture to him from Mickey. I also went around and had as many characters sign an autograph book for him and several characters even wished him a Happy Birthday!

:cheer2: Thanks for all your posts! I'll let you all know how it all goes! 55 days! Merry Christmas! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :rotfl: :rotfl2: :earboy2:
