It will be my 37th bday at Disney!!! I have decided that I want to go to HS that day. One of my most fave parks and the best josh suggested that day. I want to eat at Sci Fi. (I eat low carb 90% of the time) and when I eat carbs I want fries!! The atmosphere seems cool as well. With that said, what are some cool Birthday ideas for me?? It will be Easter as well. I am big on Bdays and Disney! I already ordered Minnie ears that I will get one of my friends to write or sew Happy Birthday on. What else should I do! I'm a kid at heart lol.

Get a couple of happy birthday pins. On one pin, write your name, and on the other pin, write your date of birth. People will react more enthusiastically to you and you'll get even more happy birthday wishes when they realize it really is your birthday on that day.

Have fun! :bday:

You can call the cake hotline and order a cake for your birthday to be delivered at Sci Fi. We've done this before, and the cakes are yummy!

We celebrated my dad's 52nd birthday during our summer trip in 2013. It was a lot of fun! We arrived on the 7th of July and his birthday wasn't until the 11th and we were there until the 14th. When we booked the trip through AAA our agent added that it was his birthday to our plans, so when we arrived his birthday button was already customized at our hotel. He wore the button every day until and on his birthday, but stopped after his birthday. I had also made him a T-shirt that said Birthday Boy with a Mickey sill outer on it. My mom and I had matching shirts that said celebrate. We wore those on his actual birthday. During our stay, Mickey left a signed card in our room as well as a couple of messages on the phone. On his actual birthday there was one of Mickey and Minnie singing happy birthday. My mom and I brought Mickey decorations from Party City with us and on the first morning while he was in the shower, we decorated the room. We had also purchased a package from the Disney Floral service that was in our room when we arrived. This included balloons, some treats, and the birthday Mickey ears, which we later customized. On his birthday we made reservations at 50s Prime Time Diner, this was our only table service meal of the trip since we were on the dining plan. He got a free cupcake with a candle while we there and the waitress gave him an extra hard time since it was his birthday! Overall, the rest of the trip was just a bunch of "happy birthdays" from cast members and even some other guests and a few fun Photopass photos since he was wearing his button. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn't ignore it while you are there just because you are an adult! Have a great trip!!!

I just celebrated my 40th over Thanksgiving. In addition to wearing the birthday pin, we made matching shirts at Design-a-Tee in DTD that we wore in MK. Mine said "Celebrating my 40th Birthday" w/ a pic of Mickey holding some balloons. My daughters' said "Celebrating my mom's 40th", my parents' said "daughter", etc. Not only was it fun, but it made it easy to find each other in the crowd. :)

I celebrated my 40th with a Wishes cruise. The best money I've ever spent at Disney :)

Congrats! There's no better way to spend a birthday than at Disney! I celebrated my 30th Birthday in Disneyland last year and will be celebrating my 31st in WDW this year (a week away!).

In Disneyland, I too wore my ears with my name. First thing in the morning I got a Birthday pin at City Hall. I received happy birthday wishes all day from guests and cast members. One cast member had everyone in line for Indiana Jones sing Happy Birthday to me. I then had my picture taken with him. I was so touched I made sure to write about how great he was on a comment card at city hall.

This year, I will do the same, wear my ears and a pin, but my mom and I are having afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian one of the days of the trip. What better way to relax, feel girly and spend quality time with your mom?

Besides wearing a tshirt, you could "Disney bound" as one of your favorite characters.

If I could, I would arrange for one of those small private events, like eating dinner on the Tower of Terror Terrace after the park closes. It's not as pricey as one might imagine. One woman did and documented it on her site here (including pricing, etc) http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to/private-party/

Maybe someday I will get to do something like that.

You could also "pay it forward" by looking out for other fellow Birthday goers. Besides wishing them a happy birthday, have a handful of Birthday post cards to spread your own birthday magic to a fellow guest. Think I might just do that :cheer2:

Not trying to discourage you regarding sci-fi, we've eaten there a couple times and it was fun. But depending how big your party is, those cars only hold 4 guests and you're not facing each other. It might not be conducive for a birthday celebration.

Some of the cars hold 6 as well.
