Do you have to get off of the ship early on Castaway Cay day to get an unbrella and chairs at the adult beach? I have read on earlier posts that is hard to get spots on the family beach.

Thanks for the help!

We have had great luck each of the three trips we have made to CC's adult beach. Of course we try to be one of the first off of the ship. If you wait too long you will find yourself way around the beach and away from the bar and restrooms. It first come, first serve.
"Early to Bed and Early to Rise" at least on this day.

It all depends on the make-up of the crowd on your particular cruise. We have almost always been able to find a good spot on the adult beach without getting up too early. However, a couple of times we sailed when there were large groups aboard, with a higher than usual population of childless adults. On those occasions, we had to walk down a little farther to find a spot (there were still plenty of chairs...you just had to hike!). On holidays, when the kid population is high, the adult beach tends to be very quiet. Even the family beach will have room if you are willing to walk to the end.
