So, I know it's kind of far off right now, but it's looking like our next trip will be in June for my 23rd birthday. I've been trying to look into birthday things on here and other places, but it seems like most of it is more for little kids.

I'll get the birthday button for sure, and we're planning on a character meal breakfast (goofys or storytellers) that day as well. I know they have the birthday ear hat, but im not big on hats, lol. Is there anything else special I could do or is the rest of it more for kids?

You can get a bag of tortillas at the tortilla factory! And some of the sit-down restaurants will give you a free dessert. Cafe Orleans gave me birthday beignets a few years ago. I guess when i've gone for my birthday I've just picked one special thing to do. Like this year we did the WOD dining package. Other times I picked a nice sit-down restaurant to go to. There's also the F! dessert or a tour.

I don't know if those are the types of things you're looking for but maybe it gives you a few ideas.

These are two good suggestions, even if you have seen F! many times. The seats you can get are great. It doesn't hurt to have a drink and goodies in your hand either. My brother's girlfriend and us had a great time going to Ariel's princess celebration for her birthday.

I wore a b-day button last week and got tons of well wishes. At Ariels i was givin a brownie with a candle in it. Very nice, I felt so special.

fyi they also had a hat that was a birthday cake and the candles on top lit up. :) We got that and DD loved it. :)
Get your free tortillas, get your bday wishes, maybe you'll get a free dessert, get a bday drink at DCA or in DTD and just have fun. :) The bday button is fun for everyone. :)

There are LOTS of special things you can do for your birthday. The question is: What's special for you?

For my birthday a few years back, DH and I spent the day in the Park and it was PERFECT. We wandered in and out of the shops on Main Street (something I love doing). We then went to a Billy Hill and the Hillbillies show (LOVE them).

We had lunch at the Blue Bayou, followed by a walk along the riverfront, a nice little cozy sit on a bench along the river, and a little cruise on the Mark Twain.

At some point we ended up over at DCA to play a little on Toy Story and watch Aladdin.

Back to DLR to see a parade, grab some dinner from Rancho (yum!) and off to a picnic at Fantasmic! followed by fireworks and a little more shopping on the way out.

Sprinkle in some pin trading throughout the day and wearing my birthday button proudly - it was a wonderful day.

Finish the night off with some birthday fudge from the the Candy Palace on the way out. It was a very special day.

Picture Disneyland as your blank canvas. What do YOU enjoy most? Make it special. It's Disneyland. If you are a Disney fan, the pieces are there, you just have to fit them together. My day might not have been "special" for someone else, but for me - it was an amazing day!

Not sure how large your party is, but the DL pastry chefs do _fantastic_ cakes, and they'll deliver them to any restaurant on property. Just order ahead of time through DL Dining. If you go to the official blog, they have several videos of them. Personally I'd vote for either Blue Bayou or Napa Rose for a bday meal. Have fun!

You could get a glass of magicale at the wine bar at DCA to celebrate your b-day! because pretty much anything else is for kids…
