The more I think about it...the more I really want to go to CP....just to see Tigger and Pooh and Piglet...

I don't really think my 38 yoa DB will want to go....and I have a day alone planned at the MK while DB and DM are at Epcot (which I don't really like).

So....do you think it would be TOO weird for me to go to CP? Don't really want pictures taken...but just want to be there and see what goes on.

I have only been to one other Character meal...at LTT..which DM loves so we talked DB into trying that one!

Help...please?!

I went to CP solo for breakfast my last trip, and loved it. I thought the food was very good, excellant for a buffet. It is a little pricy, but the characters, and quality of the food more then make up for the price. I am planning on returning to CP twice my next trip, once for breakfast, and the other time for either lunch or dinner.

This is one of my favorite places to dine at WDW. Have had both lunch & dinner there and have enjoyed them both. When I went solo in 2002 & again in 2003, dined there for both lunch and dinner over the course of the trips. I love to read, so I always have a book in my bag. I'd interact with the characters when they came around the first time, then would sit quietly and read while I ate. The characters were very nice and knew to by pass me when they went around 2 or 3 more times while I was there. That way I was not taking them away from other people.

Hi!

I say go for it! I have done CP solo several times (including this past week) and had a blast. :) Plus the food is great too.

Mike :)

Go, go, go! I recently went to my first solo character meal. It's taken me 8 solo trips to get up the courage to go solo to a character meal. I had such a great time watching the characters interact with the children and getting kisses and hugs from the characters. I can't believe I deprived myself of such FUN for so many years! A character meal will definitely be on my agenda for every solo trip from now on.
I also didn't care to have my picture taken, and the characters were just fine with that. After the first trip by, once they figured out I didn't care for pictures, they'd just make it a point to give a hug and kiss every time they were near my area.

They did that with me to, all I wanted was a pic with each, and the second time they passed around they would just wave or whatever.

Sounds like I will be making an ADR! And don't worry about carrying a book for me...I have found e-books and have about 20 loaded on my SD card for my PDA/cell phone....never without a book...even before that....never without a book for about 25 years! Makes my DM crazy!

Thanks! Dinner with Pooh and gang it is!
