Ads are appearing in Chinese

Can someone help a totally tech newbie? Since today all the annoying pop up ads are appearing in Chinese. I tried adding a pop up blocker but it hasn’t made a difference.

Any idea why the ads are all in Chinese? I’m ready to blame Temu, but I don’t have their app installed

No clue but I randomly get commercials in Spanish on Hulu.
