A while back I remember reading something about when making ADR"s now that Disney holds your ressie with a credit card. Are they still doing that and are they doing it with all ressie's or certain ones?

Starting in October 2011, they began requiring a credit card for all Signature restaurants and character meal ADRs. (You still have to pay the full amount in advance for CRT, HDDR, Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard BBQ.) Essentially, they expanded the list to include more locations.

Ok, Thanks. I saw several places we are wanting to go to that are on the list. Do they actually charge your card? We will be on the dining plan.

At CRT, HDDR, the Spirit of Aloha, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ you have to pay the full amount in advance. You can link it to your DDP and use that instead.

For the other places, they only charge your cc if you are a "no show".
