Okay, so this isn't a question that is specific to the DDP...HOWEVER.....

Does anyone ever call to verify their ADR's before leaving??? If so, how soon before leaving should I do this?

I usually ask them to print me a list @ the concierge desk at my resort when I check in. If I call to change something, I usually verify them then but I have never just made a call to verify my adrs prior to the trip. It's not a bad idea if you have the time, I guess. Actually, my travel agent gave me wrong information once that I discovered myself when changing something else, but I guess if I had made the original adr myself that wouldn't have happened. I guess there could always be a problem w/ a computer system or something, so they could get "lost" anytime, that's why I always bring my list of conf #'s to check against the list...

I'm 31 days away and plan on calling on Monday to double check mine.

I'm sure they are fine but I don't want to wait too late to double check them since I'm sure they would be hard to replace if there's a problem since I'll be there during free dining.

That makes sense...I am just worried because I am such a ditz that maybe I messed them up and will show up on the wrong day haha. I think I will probably call them tomorrow (exactly a month away!) and double-check all of 'em.

Never. The more they access the computer, the more of a chance they get to delete something accidentally.

Yes, I checked all my ADRs with a cast member about six weeks before our scheduled arrive date. They were all correct, thankfully.

It doesn't hurt to check again when you arrive at the hotel. I had written down the wrong time for our Chef Mickey's ADR. Luckily we arrived two hours early and could come back at the right time. When you are making a number of ADRs and taking whatever time you can get it is easy to make mistakes.

I agree! I just bring my conf numbers with me. They won't turn you away even if they can't find your reservation.
