Hi Just wondering if I make a few ADR's do I pay for the food in advance on credit card or will I be charged the day I eat and can I pay cash :confused3 ? Thanks:)

thanks. we will be going to a few character meals hopefully. I was just checking as I dont have a credit card so would have to book on my dad's one, it would be no problem giving it just to ensure it holds the reservation but I don't really want to charge anything to it. Cheers

I've booked for a trip in October. California Grill was the only place, that I came across, that required a credit card when making your reservation. In this case, if you don't show for your reservation, they'll charge your card $20.00.

ok thank you we are hoping to go to Crystal Palace and Restaurantosaurus and maybe a few more for character dining any ideas on these?:)

those are fine, typically, it is those restaurants that have a dinner show or something like that. It is definitely the exception, not the rule. One's that require a credit card off the top of my head are:

Hoop de doo review
Cinderella's Royal Table
The Luau at Poly
I think the VERY expensive restaurants like Artist Pointe, Cali Grill, and V&As

Crystal Palace has great food and Pooh and friends.

Who were you interested in seeing, what are the ages in your party. I am sure some more info and you will get tons of great suggestions!

I am just going with my girlfriend I am 20 she is 19, Winnie the Pooh and friends are our favourite ha. we just love everything disney though :) we will be mainly booking for Breakfasts

How about Chef Mickey? you cant beat the Fab Five- Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, and Donald!

Or you could treat her like a princess and book a princess meal at the Grand Floridian or at Norway at Epcot.

Have fun planning!

I finally made my ADR's just there. These are the ones I've decided to go with so far:cool1: :)

Dinner at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall on 18th August
Breakfast at the Crystal Palace on the 23rd
Breakfast at Restaurantosaurus on the 24th
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern on the 29th

I have a question about ADRs that is probably obvious:

Do I need to purchase a hotel room or park tix before I can make an ADR?

We're planning to go in late January/early February 2008, and I want to eat at Le Cellier. I'd like to make an ADR, but won't be reserving our hotel until the fall to get a better deal. Is an ADR possible?

Just a thought about the places that do require a reservation guarantee with a credit card.
The person whose name is on the credit card needs to be present when you check in.
So be careful about using someone else's credit card to guarantee a reservation.
