ADR's with DVC Rented Points

Hi! I have rented points and will be calling at the 180 day mark (Sunday) to make my ADR's. Do I need to have the DVC member that I rented the points from add the DDP to my reservation prior to making my ADR's or can I just call and give them my reservation # and have the DVC member add it later?

Disney Dining will not link the ADR to your DVC reservation number, they can't access DVC reservations. They will, instead, link them to your name and phone number. You can call the DVC member to add the DDP to your reservation anytime prior to check-in, but Member Services usually recommends that it be at least 3 days prior to check-in.

You don't need to have the dining plan booked, or even have your reservation booked, to get your ADR's. Just tell them you are getting the dining plan.

The one situation it might come into play are the pre-paid shows. For something like HDDR, they charge are credit card at time of ADR if you don't have the dining plan.

Actually, you do need to have a reservation number if you are planning on making your ADR's for your entire stay at 180 days (taking advantage of the 180+10 days). Since that perk is only available to those staying on property the CM needs to confirm that you are staying on property.
