I need help...please! We now have a ressie for Flying Fish, The Wave (at Contemporary), and Shutter's (Caribbean Beach Resort). We will be driving to dinner and then moving to the MK for Wishes at 10pm and Spectro at 11pm and maybe a ride or two. Is it worth giving up the Flying Fish for the convience of the locations of the other two? What are you thoughts? Many thanks for helping! Oh and we can use disney transportation and park free...we have a room at Pop but will not be coming in from that location.

FF is our favorite restaurant on property. No way would we ever give that one up. Flying Fish is convenient to EPCOT like The Wave is convenient to MK. Out of those three, Shutter's is the least convenient to any park. Even if you are not looking to see IllumiNations after Flying Fish, the Boardwalk itself is a nice place to walk around after dinner, especially if there are performers performing that night. :thumbsup2

Yes, I just realized that Shutters was not at all convenient to MK! I was thinking about Grand Floridian. I can get a ressie for the Grand Floridian Cafe for that evening...what about that one?

We've been to all three restaurants and while the GFC and The Wave are good, they're no match for FF which is one of our favorite restaurants. If you can work out the time frame I'd stick with FF. If you go to an earlier dinner you can catch a bus at Boardwalk for the MK.

IMO, the GFC is on par with The Wave, meaning that they are both good meals but tend to fly a bit under the radar. They are both nice if you are looking to go to MK after dinner.

Again, I would hang on to FF and either head to EC for IllumiNations after (it's nice since you enter through to IGW in the WS) or if you have a free night to wonder the Boardwalk or play a round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens, which is a short walk away. Also, if you are without kids, Jelly Rolls on the Boardwalk is a lot of fun for a night (all-request dueling piano bar, $10 cover charge, 21+ only). :thumbsup2

We will keep our FF ressie. Since we will have our rental car, would it be better to drive or take the bus to MK and back again? How long of a bus ride will it be and how long of a wait at park closing to get a bus back to Boardwalk? Thank for your help!
