I am renting points, I won't have any difficulty with my ADR's will I??? My name is on the reservation but oviously the reservation is in someone elses name... just wondering. thanks.

You shouldn't have a problem. When/If they ask for a reservation number, you just tell them you have a DVC reservation. IIRC, they never need anymore than that to make your reervations.

Why is the reservation in someone elses name? If you rented points for the reservation, it should be in your name.

Exactly! The person you are renting from should provide you with a copy of the reservation. It should be in your name. You will need the reservation number to make your ADRs.

The first part is right - the reservation should be in your name. However, you don't need a reservation number to make your ADRs. Local people, and people staying offsite also make ADRs....and I never use my reservation # when making mine.

If you want to use 180+10 you have to be staying on-site and you have to give the CM your reservation number.

Yes, this happened to me when I made my dinner ressies during our upcoming Food and Wine trip. I had to read off the DVC ressie number to them.

It is in my name, but his name and address is at the top also, so it is linked probably to his telephone number, not mine.... just wasn't sure if I would have an issue as I know I can't add anything to the reservation like magical express, he has to do that. thanks.

The address at the top was the mailing address. The reservation should be in your name, address and phone number. The member has to add DME and DDP because they control the reservation. If you have any concerns, contact the member. You should be comfortable with the transaction.

You will not have a problem. If you are within the 180 days, just call and book your ADR's, If you are 180 plus 10 you will need the confirmation number.
