ADRs, Touring Plans, Free Dining, What?

My extra finds - Mini emery boards, snap packs of bug repellent and SPF and some compact drying towels. (Round orange discs at right with a guy on them.) I'll let you know how those work if we use them. It is overkill in my opinion and I may remove a few items on certain days. I do like to be prepared for anything though.
You'll definitely want to keep those drying items... TRUST V! :rotfl:

Sun., Sept. 7th - POR
We will be visiting Gatorland 1st on this day. We should arrive at 5 PMish.

After we arrive:

1. Check out room.
2. Unpack and pinch myself to make sure it is real.
3. Look lovingly into my DH's eyes and say,"Let's grab some grub at the food court!"
4. Explore the resort grounds.
5. Might grab a boat to DTD, if not, just kick back and relax.
6. Decorate the door and window of our room so everyone knows I'm there!!
This sounds like a perfect arrival day! :cloud9:

I forgot to mention, when we get back to our room on Monday, something magical will have happened. It will be decorated with a romantic theme and there will be cake! YES!

Would the storm affect you taveling?

We'll start our drive on Sat. early. We'll be leaving Cartersville early on Sunday. If there is an actual full blown hurricane and they prevent people from entering Florida, I guess it could be a problem.

I think you'll be surprised at how dead the September value season can be.. even during free dining. Usually the restaurants are packed but the wait times are minimal. I don't think we stood in line an longer than 10 min last year for anything. My only bit of advice would be to get to River Roost early! We never got to see him because the joint was PACKED!

I don't know - I think it's do-able with a good plan! :thumbsup2

See, even V agrees ::yes::

Next: The DISRules.

Sounds like a great plan! I can't believe it's so close...

Isn't the last week before you go the longest - ever?! I hope you have the BEST time! :cheer2:

 Just wanted to do a banana dance for you!!

I know you're getting all excited! I chose Friday as our "free day" too! I'm careful not to over-plan...and truthfully, if it weren't for ADRs, I probably wouldn't plan anything other than the park-days based on touring plans!

You are doing great planning out your days.

I have our ADRs planned and on what days we'll do the parks but that's about it. We know what rides and attractions we want to do/see but that's as far a it goes. With having 2 teens and a 5 yr. old, it's hard to plan too much in advance. The teens don't always want to get out of bed and 5 yr. old just doesn't always cooperate for whatever reason.

We will be in some of the same parks on the same days. We will be in HS on Monday, MK on Wednesday, and Epcot on Friday, so we may end up see a lot of each other.
Right now Tuesday is the only day that we don't have anything planned so I'm hoping I can make it to the Meet N Greet at the pool. :cool1: Maybe I can convince my family that we need a day to hang out at the pool. :cool2:

One more week!!!! :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Just got back from POR. Recommend the garlic mashed potatoes. They were my favorite thing at the food court. Loved using the boat to get to downtown Disney.

I concur that TSM fast passes will be gone within the first hour. You've got to head for that one first.
