Just curious. Le Cellier is very hard to get into even with a smaller group.... this time, we have 2 families going...11 in all (5 adults, 1 Disney Junior, and 5 kids) Anyone ever have luck getting an ADR for Le Cellier with a group this large?

Also I have been reading that Sci Fi is getting harder to get an ADR for. Any luck w/ this one with a large group?

My hopeful list of ADRs is...
Teppan Edo
Tony's
Sci Fi
Le Cellier
Kona
Ohana breakfast
50's Prime time

I know that during busy times, Le Cellier won't even let you in without an ADR. We had a party of 10 last summer and we couldn't get an ADR anywhere. We ended up going to Spoodles one night and Whispering Canyon another right at opening time and had no problem getting seated. You might want to try that strategy!

I made ADRS for a group of 11 on the deluxe ddp-- it was a little bit of challege but I still pretty much got what they wanted. Just call at exactly 90 days and prepare to be flexible/eat at off hours.

I couldn't get a reservation for a party of 7 at Le Cellier on 6th August, I rang on Tuesday which was 90 days from our check in day.

We booked 28 people at several different restaurants: Boma, Chef Mickey's, Hoop Dee Doo and Crystal Palace.

12 of us ate at Le'Cellier with no problems!

Good Luck!!!

:scared1: I will have a party of 7 most nights and a party of 8 to 9 on others. I may have to break us up a little for LeCellier. :sad2:

11 is definitely going to be hard! It's going to be a challenge, especially if you need to eat around a certain time. Definitely call as soon as you're able! Le Cellier tends to fill up fast for groups of any size.

I do know that for some restaurants you can't make a reservation for a party that size over the regular Disney dining phone line, you have to call the restaurant directly. I don't know if Le Cellier is one of these, though.

You never know. I had no luck getting 'Ohana for any night or time for a party of 4 but I was offered a ressie of 8 at a prime dinner time. (CM saw that I was part of a grand gathering)

We did a party of nine one year, and had 'Ohana, 50's PT, LTT, HDDR with no problem ... at LTT, we were at two adjacent tables, but the other three we were all together, and it was like feeding Pharoah's army. We did the Epcot Grand Gathering Illuminations gig, too.

I'm the leader of our grand gathering of 24. Its rough to sit on the phone while they sift through days and times but usually I get what I want...usually being key here! Have 2nd and 3rd options for all your plans.

I haven't had to make reservations for 11 in a a couple of years and if we were willing to split into two tables of 5 and 6 we didn't have much problem with anything.

Again, that was two years ago so I'm wondering how it has been going recently.

Just curious about what you thought of the illuminations dinner at Epcot?

Hi

We were in Disney last week with a party of 11. I booked our ADR's about 9 weeks before our trip and got with minimal problems:
Garden Grill dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Kona Cafe dinner (but ended up walking up to O'hana right at opening and got in right away, so we cancelled Kona)
O'hana best friends breakfast
Hollywood and Vine dinner
Tusker House breakfast (lucked out with this one, called 3 days prior to departure and got a cancellation)
Chef Mickey's dinner
1900 Park Fare breakfast
1900 ParK Fare dinner
Cape May breakfast
Akershus dinner
Cape May Cafe dinner

While we were there though, we ended up cancelling 1900 Park Fare breakfast and Cape May breakfast because the kids were just too tired! For the most part when I made these ADR's we were given 2 (and sometimes 3) tables but we were always seated together except at the Crystal Palace where we had 2 tables side by side.

Mostly depends on luck;) We have 9 going in a couple of weeks and Le Celliers was the only one that I had a hard time getting. I did get one but not until 8:00pm!

We are going with a party of 9 in June. I didn't have any trouble getting the reservations I wanted with the exception of Sci-fi. They said we weren't guaranteed a table together, but they would try to get us as close together as possible. Our last night at WCC they said we would have a table together. We have ADRs for LTT, Kona, LeCellier, Boma, 1900 Park Faire and WCC. I'm really hoping we will be able to sit together for a few of them. Good luck!!!
