Are there any particular ADRs that were a great benefit to your touring plan? Ex: Garden Grill at 8am, to try and ride Soarin

Others may have some great PPO strategies to share but I gave up trying to guess park hours since they can change well after 180 ADRs are made. So our strategy for this May is that the breakfast ADRs we reserved (CRT and TH) are for 10:30. That way it makes no difference if park hours change last minute. We can still get some rides in at rope drop whether that is 8:00 or 9:00 and then go for a late breakfast. We are also going to pay for EMM on one morning at MK. That is our very expensive strategy for not having to FP Peter Pan, Mine Train and Pooh.

We try to get BOG for PPO. 8 AM reservations usually are best because they'll let us head back there around 7:45. Then we can finish up breakfast and be ready to jump on Peter Pan or 7 Dwarfs. This Dec is the first time we've had the park hrs change on us but we assumed that would happen with the busy holiday schedule.

We prefer to do late lunches/early dinners for TS ADR because those are typically the busiest wait times on the rides and the hottest part of the day.

We don’t think there are any must have ADRs. Pre-trip, I might book a few places that I think could possibly work for us, but more often than not end up cancelling. For example, on this current trip, we’ve only kept 2 of the 6 ADRs I booked in advance. I cancelled the others awhile ago. We typically stay club level, so we don’t eat many sit down meals anyway. If we decide we do want a TS ADR, we scope out what’s available day of. If nothing appeals to us, we just roll with it. I do think this strategy is easier for us with a smaller group (3); I imagine larger traveling parties have a harder time appeasing everyone.

For our family, one of the best meals was our late BOG dinner. Our reservation was late, 9pm and we were seated in that little room with the rose. The waiter was super chill and invited to go walk around and check out the facility, that we were his last table.

We had so much fun and had the Beast to ourselves. Some of the best pictures of the trip. Our son is old enough to be up that late, for younger kids a 9pm meal might not work.

Thanks, I was also wondering about meals that include a seat at ROL or Fantasmic. Are those greatly beneficial & worth the cost?

We have an ADR for Tusker House for next March because I wanted the ROL package. We are using the Dining Plan so it made perfect sense for us because it doesn't cost any extra credits. If I were paying out of pocket I would probably make a different choice.

IMHO if you are trying to ride early in the morning then breakfast is a quick bite before heading to the park. :)
I agree completely! We bring a giant box of granola bars in our checked bag on the plane and buy bananas while we are there. It's so much easier to eat those items while waiting to enter the park and it holds us over until an early lunch or snack.

We always try to reserve a restaurant for the Fantasmic Package. The girls just love that show so they want the best seats I can get.
