ADRs/Room Reservations

Ok, I hope I can explain this properly.

We are going on a family vacation. Three families, with each family in their own room. I am assuming when we book, the three families with three rooms will be tied under one reservation number. If this is the case, can one family make an ADR for one restaurant while another family makes it for another place. Basically, we are going on vacation together but might not eat every meal together. Is this considered conflicting reservations?

If each family goes on their own reservation number, is it easy to link up our reservations to make one ADR? So my immediate family is 5 people. But if my ILs (a family of two) want to have dinner with us, do we need to provide their reservation number?

If all of this sounds crazy and makes no sense, I apologize. I am trying to coordinate everyone's plans, interests, and going a bit insane.:scared1:

You only need your reservation to book ADRs if you have the dining plan or if you are booking at 180 days out. Since you are looking at late September per your other thread, each family can book just using their name, email and phone number.

Even if you were utilizing 180+10 and/or a dining plan (not sure if you are or not), the reservations are tied to the phone number and name, and not the resort reservation number. The resort reservation is only to determine if you are eligible for 180+10 and if you have an appropriate dining plan associated with it.

Theoretically (since I have no way to test this myself), even with a single resort reservation number, so long as multiple people make the reservations, it shouldn't flag them as mutli-bookings.

This is absolutely correct. :thumbsup2
