ADRs reserved on closed credit card

A few weeks ago I made several ADRs, all secured with my primary credit card.

Last week our bank contacted us to let us know our number was being used fraudulently, so they closed that card and issued a new one (with a new number, obviously).

Do I need to do anything about the ADRs I've already reserved? I assume Disney won't try to charge my card at this point, right? If they do, will my reservations be cancelled?

You just reminded me, my Disney Visa was closed last week because of fraudulent use and we were reissued a new card/number. I need to go update that in MDE. I can't imagine how it would affect ADRs that are already scheduled. I have a bunch of ADRs are well.

I have experienced this and it did not cancel or impact my ADRs.

Back when Disney started requiring a CC to make an ADR some folks would deliberately make the ADRs with a CC that would expire before their trip so that if they were no shows and didn't cancel in time there would be no valid card to tack the penalty to.

I've done this, it helps if you're wanting to keep the ability to be flexible while keeping the option for a more relaxed meal as well.

We had this happen, and I called Disney to make sure it would not cancel our ADR's. They assured me that once the reservation is made it does not do anything to the ADR if your credit card is cancelled. We had no problems during our trip.

It didn't happen to me, but I haven't tested it in about 8 months.

That's certainly nice of you to put your own convenience ahead of others looking to actually make legitimate ADRs.

Many people who make ADRs aren't staying at a Disney resort.

2)We have this happen almost every night when we do billing close-outs.
3) But, we still get paid.
4) I have had to find ways to collect on many occasions. *

. . . sometimes a nasty legal referral

* Nothing worse at 4:00am, than the bill can't be paid due to a

Yes, but one day at a time, instead of your whole trip (up to 10 days) all at once.
