ADRs - Party may be seated at more than 1 table

Every so often when I make a reservation request online it will say party may be seated at more than 1 table.

Have others seen this message, booked anyway, and got seated apart? Or do they really try and seat you together?? Does that message come up on THEIR system?

I have seen this message when I have made ADRs online. I have also been told that we may be seated at two tables when I have made ADRs over the phone.

After making our ADRs for our upcoming trip, I posted something on this forum regarding seating of large parties. Several people who replied to my post told me that in the end their party was seated together. Others said that they thought that the chances of being seated together at one table might be better if we arrived 30 minutes prior to our ADR time.

We have kept the reservations that we have at the restaurants where we were told we might be seated at two tables. Hopefully with a little bit of luck and pixie dust, we'll all be able to sit together.

We have this message periodically, and the only place we were seated at more than one table was CRT (and there were 13 of us!). So, I think unless you have a huge huge party, you should be ok. And we had a great time at separate tables, it was just an opportunity to really chat with some of the people on our trip which was really nice. Good luck!

There's only 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids... Sitting at 2 separate tables just really wouldn't go over well


But maybe we'll give it a try!

Don't worry about it. We went last Aug. with 8 ppl. and were seated together in every restaurant. When I booked they said that we could be seated separately, but we weren't.

The only time we got that message was for Sci Fi Diner and it makes sense since the car tables hold 2 to a row.
What restaurants are people getting this message for?

We've gotten this message for a few restaurants (travelling with ILs, so there are 7 of us). I'm hoping that we will all be able to sit together after all.

We just returned and had received this message for a few of our ADRs. Our party of 8 never was separated. Hope this holds true for everyone else.
