ADRs not appearing on MDE site?

I made some additional ADRs today and then was just browsing the "my plans" on the MDE site and noticed none of the ADRs are appearing. I tried re-linking the ADRs but they still don't appear. I checked the app to see if they were showing there. At first plans were blank, but when I tried to re-link an ADR, it told me it was already linked and then all ADRs appeared at once. I refreshed the site and they're still not appearing there.

Do I need to still carry all confirmation numbers with me when in WDW? Is Disney honoring ADRs if they disappear from the app? We're not trying to get into BOG or anything but I don't want to be turned away from CP or lose our fantasmic package because of a tech glitch.

When I made my original ADR's online on day 180, (about 10 of them) one of them never showed up on MDE even though I did receive a confirmation number. I called about it and was transferred to a tech support person who was finally able to link it properly. I was told that my reservation would have still been valid even though I couldn't see it, but I'm glad they were able to fix it. So I would give them a call.

Now everytime I cancel an ADR or make a new ADR, I always double check to make sure it's gone through properly on MDE.

Thanks. If none of mine are showing up, do they have to re-link them one by one? I have quite a few and that's a lot of confirmation numbers to read out.

Whether they show up on the app, or on MDE is irrelevant. If the reservation was made, it's in Disney's system. No one at the restaurant is going to ask to see your app or will ask for your confirmation number, either. I'd keep the confrmation number in case there is a problem, but I wouldn't spend the time to relink them to MDE, either. The system is glitchy, and they may just show back up on their own. Keep in mind that just because they don't show up in MDE doesn't mean they don't exist...it just means that MDE isn't displaying them for whatever reason. If you know the time and confirmation numbers, that's really all you need.

It is relevant if you cancel and reschedule ADR's constantly.

It's easy to lose track of ADR's if they are not showing up on MDE. You don't want to be dinged $10 per person for not showing up to an ADR because it was missing from MDE and you forgot to cancel it because it wasn't showing up.

And how did you keep track of such things before MDE? ;)

My point is...if you know what reservations you have, it doesn't matter if they disply on MDE or not. MDE isn't the reservation of record, it's simply a pretty (and glitchy) way to display your vacation plans. I personally don't use to keep track of ADRs while on vacation...I'm old fashioned and still write everything down.

I totally understand your point. I know that as long as you have your confirmation number, it's a valid reservation.

But MDE does display (or is supposed to) your reservations when you click on reservations. They are supposed to be there and they should be there. So calling to let them know if something is missing or something has been cancelled but is still showing up in your reservations let's them know there is a problem.

As for what I did before MDE.....

I hardly made any changes, so I wrote down my confirmation numbers as I booked.

Before MDE, there weren't FP's to book and coordinate with ADR's. It's become more complicated scheduling everything in. Which is a big part of the reason I've booked and cancelled so many ADR's. Plus it's more important then ever to remember which ADR's you have due to the cc guarantee for all ADR's that was implemented last year.

I will write down all my confirmation numbers once everything is finalized. I have email confirmations of booked and cancelled ADR's now if there is a problem.

Thank you, this is why I was looking for them as well. We haven't sorted out where we'll be on each day so I have several ADR's I'll be cancelling before the trip. I wanted to make sure I cancel everything outstanding that we won't be attending. I also figured it would be easier to cancel online instead of calling, but I can call if I need to.

I have saved all my emails but I guess I'll go ahead and move the confirmation numbers over to a spreadsheet so I can cancel the ADRs easier.
