We're up in the air on timings for meals, curious about the odds to "walk-in" to various places (Whispering Canyon breakfast around 9:00 or so, etc).

Leaving tomorrow :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Yes, yes and yes. ADR"s are necessary for your must do restaurants.

YES you need an ADR!! Unless you like to wait for a VERY long time and hope an opening comes up. Keep trying until you can get it, just my .02. I saw more people turned away on our last trip that I could possibly tell you. Everything was booked, without an ADR, people were just not getting seated.

Normally you might be able to get into wcc for breakfast, but since their quick service restraurant is closed, wcc is the only place for guest staying at wl and wlv to get a hot breakfast. I even made adrs there for my trip later this week. but in the past we would show up at openning (7:30) and get seated with no problem. so add the resort guest eating there as their only option and the non-wl resort guest eating there, and it all makes for adrs are necessary.
