We had CRT for 13, HoopDeDoo for 15 and many more ADRs for 7 to 11 people. The CRT, etc. were booked 90 days in advance but the ADR to LeCellier, Biergarden, Tony's, etc. were booked while we were there (10/29-11/4). We did not sit at one table if we exceeded 8 but all the tables were next to each other and were fine. Even if we were at one table there would be no way you could talk to everyone.
on our last trip we had a couple of meals w/ some friends from the UK and we had a group of 11 and we were able to either get a table large enough for all of us or either get 2 tables that were side by side (or next to each other - the operators at the Dining line will tell you they can't guarantee side by side but we never had a problem w/ it). when you get an operator, tell them you have a party of 11, you'd love to seat together but 2 tables would be fine and just know you'll be seated side by side even if they tell you they can't guarantee it. good luck!
Not a problem, we've had groups of 27 to 30 people at Kona Cafe. Many times you'll be told that you might have two or more tables. We're okay with this. In Oct. we had 17 at Crystal Palace at two tables next to each other.
We did 13 last Christmas all over the place (Narcossee's, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Germany, Ohana, Crystal Palace, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Mama Melrose). Once or twice we were put on 2 adjoining tables.
yes you can make large reservations, just call disney dining & they will transfer you to group dining. the only thing is with a large group is they cant guarantee all your party will be seated at 1 table.
We also had 11 in our party in August. We had no problems with ADRs we ate at Nine Dragons, Chef Mickey, Cape May Cafe, BOMA, Wolfgang Cafe, Crystal Palace. Not once were we put at a table of two. We were also able to get one table at ESPN were they do not take reservations.
Thanks everyone for the encouraging info. We are planning on discussing particular details for ADR's when we get together on Christmas Day. I will be calling on Monday to make all of them.
Only place I have had a problem was CM. We waited over an hour for a table to free up...with and ADR and we were there on time(even a tiny bit early). I would not do that again...I would ask for 2 tables of 6 next to each other.
