I'm new to making ADR's, and quite frankly reading a bit on the DISboards has me terrified seeing as I haven't made any yet for a trip that is only three weeks away, which I am now realizing is going to be a crowded week!

If I am trying to make an ADR as an offsite guest, what info do I give the CM I talk to? Everyone staying onsite clearly gives their hotel reservation number, but what's my equivalent?

Thanks, sorry for the newbie question!

You don't need to give them anything - just call and tell them you want to make a dining reservation. They will ask if you are a resort guest and you just tell them no. No biggie.

Don't stress too much about reservations - if you believed many on this board, you'd think if you didn't make them exactly 90 days out you won't eat the entire week. I am here right now and made reservations two weeks ago and got anything I wanted. If you want something uber popular, you won't have a chance, but you won't go hungry.

Call tomorrow morning and see what you can snag =)

Thanks for the encouragement! I'll do exactly that: call tomorrow and hope for the best!
