Our booking window will be opening shortly for a mid-June trip with a group of 10. We have our eye on some pretty tough to get reservations (CRT, BOG, any character dining we can possibly get, Oga’s for half the group, etc...), so definitely trying to keep expectations realistic.

Anyone have any recent experience with booking for a large group? I’m pretty certain I’ll have to call due to size, I’ve heard mixed reviews on splitting the group and finding matching times online...

And, bonus question - do you absolutely have to have park pass reservations made for the park you are booking dining in? TIA!

Here's another thread from this week with some good recent info:

No, dining and park reservations are separate. BUT, having a dining reservation does not grant you access to a park without a park reservation.

You do have to have park hoppers if you’re dining in a different park from your reservations as well. But again, park hoppers and adrs do not necessarily guarantee access, however, up to this point, no one with a park hopper has been denied access to another parks.
