We have the QSDDP for our trip coming up next month, but would like to check out some of the table service restaurants. Can you make an ADR and then just order/pay for a dessert and a drink? This would all be OOP. Of course, this wouldn't work in a place that only serves buffet ... but in an ala carte type place, can you?

If you can do this, what table service restaurants have the best or most unique desserts?

TIA!:goodvibes

Yes you can make an adr for just dessert.

I did this for my 40th bday at Brown Derby. Wanted the Grapefruit Cake...mmmm it was great. I made the lunch ressie at 11:45, so I sort of had the cake for breakfast. Hey at 40 it is allowed!! :rotfl2:

Anyway, the server was very nice. He didn't treat me any different than a customer ordering a whole meal. Even got an extra dessert free for it being my bday. Was an awesome start to the day!!

Go and enjoy!!
