Hi, I've finally been able to book our ADR's for our May trip - Its our first time taking our children (DS4 and DS9mths) so the trip has really been planned around them - so please bear that in mind when you see my choices!!;) :thumbsup2

May 18th - O'Hanas (6.30pm)

May 19th - Chef Mickeys (5.45pm)

May 20th - Whispering Canyon Cafe (1pm)

May 21st - Crystal Palace (8.05am)
- Alices Wonderland Tea Party (1.30pm) - With Friends' DD8

May 22nd - O'Hanas (8am)

May 23rd - Garden Grill (12pm)

May 27th - Sci Fi Diner (1.10pm)

Plus will book Animal Kingdom's Rainforest Cafe at 180 day mark for lunch.

Does that sound ok ?? Or at least ok for a 4 year old boy??!!!;) :)

It looks great for him- but by the end you might want to strangle one of the characters! You have three meals with mickey so you could possible drop one of those but if you don't mind it- then I think you are good to go. I'm personally not a huge fan of Ohana's for dinner because it is so loud, but I suck it up because my kids like it there. You done good for him!

oh yes - my mistake - i forgot o'hanas :rolleyes1 !!! never mind we want to keep that one as its our last morning staying at the poly!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I can vouch for Chef Mickey's (we had breakfast) and Sci-Fi with a 4 year old boy. My DS loved them both.

CM is loud, but I am of the mindset that if you've got a preschooler (and in your case a baby, too), sometimes loud is better than quiet. :)

My only suggestion is that you might want to try one less character meal - maybe O'hana's only once?-or something *slightly* quieter. All the characters and noise can sometimes be overwhelming. And in my experience, an overwhelmed 4 year old is no fun for anyone!

Sounds magical for a 4 year old, but I agree with the others - maybe drop one of the Ohana's? For something more "adult", but still very child-friendly, maybe try Kona (right there at the Poly also) or LeCellier - they were the favorites of our trip with a 2 and 4 year old. The kids really loved CM and CP, too.
