I know the exact date I can begin booking dining reservations for my upcoming trip in December but at what time of day can I begin doing so? With FREE dining going on, I believe that the most popular restaurants will be snatched up quickly. I have heard various replies saying they began booking at midnight while others say not until 4am or 6am. Does anyone know FOR SURE the exact time? I have to work that day and will have a tough time getting ADR's made. Thanks in advance!!! :worship:

Thanks G719!! Was curious also because a friend my husband works with told him that by 6am on her day to make ADR's, the places she wanted were already booked. I wonder if she was accurate with that?

She could have been.

When you call, you can make reservations at 180 days from the start of your trip. And you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your trip.

When I call, and I am arriving 1 day before you, I can also make reservations for 10 days of my trip. But my trip starts before yours. So I call a day before you.

If you are up and online with the right order to book on the right days (even if your not a bit) you should not have that much of a problem.

We went last year from Dec 18 thru January 1st. I got everything I wanted. The only thing that gave me a problem was a Mama Melrose Fantasmic ADR and that was because they hadn't released them yet. We were in on free dining for the whole trip and we had deluxe dining. So we ate at three venues most days including Christmas Eve/Day and New Years Eve/Day.

I booked the first 10 days at 180 days at 6am central time. Then it was a day by day after that for the rest of the trip. I only had to compromise on time by 5 minutes here or there.

So unless you are set on, absolutely MUST HAVE a very specific perfect typical meal time, you should be good.

There are some meals you want to book fiorst as opposed to going in date order though...Be Our Guest, Cinderellas (although it seems to be getting easier to book lately), Ohana to name a few.

We have visited during free dining for the past 7 or 8 years and I don't usually have much of a problem.

Good luck...and happy ADR-ing!

1) Totally possible.
2) As mentioned, many folks book at the 180+10 day mark.
3) So, at 180 days, popular ADR's are gone-gone-gone.
4) Your option is to keep trying (usually at the 55-45 day mark)and see if there are cancellations.
