Just wondering if this place takes ADRs?
Anyone love/hate it here?
Something better at Epcot that the kids would love for dinner?

ADRs=yes.

I LOVE the blackened catfish on grits,DH loved the mahi. We took 3 kids under 3 last trip and it was fine for them. The enjoyed the fish tank [and we were against the far wall], the food kept their attention and all around it was the best meal we did during the trip.

Have fun!

All Disney owned restaurants start taking ADRs at 180 days out from the start of your trip. It is popular and if you want a decent meal time I would call as soon as you have your touring schedule figured out. We have eaten there twice and it has been very good when we have been there. As far as what your kids would like, that would have to depent on your kids. Are they boys or girls? What are their ages? Are they picky eater?

The Princess Storybook meal at Norway is great and has the princesses. The Garden Grill has a character dinner with Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Also, my kids like eating at the Mexican pavilion at Epcot.

Hope this info helps.

thanks;)
My DS loves sea creatures. It sounds like a perfect match for us.

Yes, they take ADRs but book as early as possible as they are very popular. We could only get lunch for the week that we are going.

We have never dined there before so I can't tell you.

Garden Grill is a good character meal your kids would probably enjoy, ask for a table on the lower tier. If you have girls they would like the Akershus Princess meal. Happy planning whatever you choose.

This was one of our best meals by far. (June 2008) The aquarium keeps the kids entertained and we loved our meals. DH loved the NY strip steak and I LOVED the salmon. Be sure to get the chocolate wave for dessert, best dessert in the world:lovestruc

Coral Reef was awesome :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
the food was fabulous, :goodvibes great service :yay: & kids loved the aquarium & divers :3dglasses

go to Akershus if you want princess' or Garden Grill for characters
but we were disappointed with the menu :upsidedow

Yes you do need adr. It's nice here good food cool looking. We also like Teppan Edo good food & fun here.

We ate here once in 99 and I remember we loved the atmosphere and the filet.

I am taking our nieces with us in January and I picked this place because they had something on the kids menu they will eat and the atmosphere, they are so into aquariums and stuff. They could spend the entire day in the Nemo exhibit if I let them.

I've eaten here every trip since the first time we tried it. Good food and really nice ambiance. I think kids would love it....watching the sharks and huge turtles....Heck, it entertains me!!!

This is one of our favorite spots! We love the atmosphere, the cool blues and greens - it's a nice respite from the heat.

We hope you enjoy! :thumbsup2

Sounds great, thank you so much for the help!
I am kinda torn now though between the Garden Grill though. Although I think I am leaning more toward Coral Reef. I plan on doing Chef Mickey and CRT for the character experiene. DD would love the GG, but DS would love the Coral Reef. I guess since CRT is more for DD and Chef Mickey is more for... me LOL! I should go with Coral Reef. DH has no say :lmao:
now i am thinking out loud lol
Thanks again
