All but one of our ADR's are currently made for 4 people. 1 person will not be coming on our trip which begins next week. I had made the reservations prior to Oct. 26th when new policies were made. So I did not give a credit card but they are tied to my resort reservation.

Will I have any trouble at the restaurants, denied ADR, long delays for because we are 3 instead of 4 or other issues?

The only ADR on the credit card list would be Ohana, but again, that was made prior to the policy change.

Any reason to call and try to change any of them to 3? Can't do so online as theres no ADR's left for the times we have and no way to simply make a change to existing.

If you made the reservation before October 26 the new policy does NOT apply, even if you have a resort reservation entered.

However, if you try to change the reservation, the new policy will apply at 'Ohana, so just keep the reservations the way they are.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but what is the "new policy"? We made some ADR's last week and they said we can change or modify 24 hrs prior without penalty.

If the restaurant you booked is on that list, changing or modifying after the cancellation period may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking and you'd be charged if you did it within too short a time. you should pay particular attention to the notification in the sticky thread that it is NOT 24 hours prior, but a full calendar day in advance.

Just as FYI. I just got off the phone with WDW DINE on another question. I asked about this too and they said, even with the new policy, you can decrease your party size any time (even on the same day as your ADR) without penalty.

Great, except you got that from WDW-DINE and they are not always correct.
