ADRs booked - surprisingly easy!

You are correct, there is no way of knowing until your 180 day arrives. All looked good for mine but at 180 days would only let me book the 1 meal without linking to DDP.

Been in touch with Kerry at Complete Orlando, she says the 3 letters and 5 digit format is only available if booking direct with Disney. I replied just before 5pm yesterday telling her Charter travel are now also issuing this format, I await her response.
Charter Travel rang Disney to get my number 3+5 digits. Although it brings up my booking now, who knows what will happen on ADR day!!

I have the $150 and was surprised to find that I get the Disney extra's as well (golf, viewing area etc). Maybe Charter book direct with Disney???

Only thing I couldn't get was Fantasmic package for end of July but don't think dates are out yet so will keep trying.

I booked for June yesterday, it was showing greyed out on the calender view, but if you type the zero in front of the dates in the date view ie 06/02/12 for 2nd June booking then it recognised it.

I called Disney Dining Reservations yesterday and they gave me my 12 digit resort ref. I've managed to use this to link my hotel booking to my reservations but it doesn't pick up the dining plan.

So now is everyone having the same problem I had in October?

I've booked ADRS, but they aren't linked to my dining plan, is this going to be a problem for me?

Cheers

Rachel

The CM said that my ADRs didn't need to be linked to my dining plan, only CRT as that's a pre pay.

Did it accept your 12 digit number? I try every day, won't accept mine.

This summer will be my first stay in Disney Orlando. I also have a 12 digit ref from Kerry- Complete Orlando. Have had no luck booking any dinner reservations as number not valid. Sent an email so hopefully it will get sorted as reservations for my dates are already open.

At least you have numbers!!

I'm so glad you told me on my wibble thread about ADRs that I don't *have* to have a ref number to use the system, as I booked through Thompson (I know, I know) and they have seemingly never heard of this number nor have an ability to give me one!

Apparently they just have an allocation of rooms in each resort and we won't be allocated ours until 14 days before we travel. So as far as they are concerned we aren't 'booked' as such yet.

They said if the ADR site relies on some Disney booking ref, then I'll have to get that from Disney, but I don't see how this is possible if they haven't made Disney aware that we're coming!

I give up. I might go take a look at the ADR site before our window opens just to get a feel for how it works. I'm assuming you can do that?

Hi folks,

I'm staying off-property - am I right in thinking I can only book ADR's as each individual day comes up? And that I don't need any reservation or reference number?

This will be my first trip to Orlando and have never had to do ADR's before! We're looking to book Crystal Palace for breakfast on our first morning, La Hacinenda for a Friday night and Le Cellier for one of our last nights. Does this sound do-able if I'm having to book them all seperately? (Need to nook CP on Monday so getting quite excited/nervous!)

Snow x

Thats correct Snow, you can book at 180 days from your ADR date.

My 12 digit number didn't work either just FYI, and that was around 2 months ago!

Well I'm now armed with my 11 digit reference and my 3 letters 5 digit reference......hoping at last one set work in april!

Apparently, according to the email reply I had from disney the 3/5 reference is the internal reference for disney that sits behind the 11 digit reference.........all very confusing if you ask me lol!!!

Managed to book Fantasmic Package yesterday after trying daily. The dates can't have been loaded at my 180 days. One major job out of the way but lots to do still (thank goodness - couldn't stand having nothing to plan)

This was the hardest ADR followed by Hoop Dee Doo that we completed .
Well done getting yours sorted :goodvibes

I have made a few more reservations online. Now that I have my tricky ones I am just doing without the 180+10 window and booking online - those phone calls are ridiculous! They are all linking into my reservations screen fine too.

I got Fantasmic for the 30th July this morning - typing in manually.

Getting back to enjoying this again!

Snow882 As Wayneg advised - yes you need to book as each day becomes available. I'll be doing the same for our Oct trip. I'd suggest you have a 'play' to see how it works - as some times you have to be quick to get what you want. Disney guests can book 10 day earlier than non-Disney guests; but don't let that panic you - I managed to get a table for 12 at Crystal Palace 8:05am (popular 1st slot of the day) for the 29th July at about 3:30pm our time on the 1st day that date became available.

Still reccommend you do at 11:00 though - Good Luck

I remember the pain of the Fantasmic package - well done for getting sort Beth01dog

Today was our 180+10 date.... was able to call up our hotel reservation (booked through CO) using 12 digit number. Was able to book 3rd August... but that was it.

I called a 0800 (hopefully free '*** I was on the phone for about 40 minutes!!!) Very nice American man called Ramone couldn't find my reservation on their system AT ALL - VERY SCARY!! I had it on my screen and I explained I could link my hotel reservation to the number but not make any dining (+10). He oculdn't explain it as he couldn't pull up my reservation his end (even after me spelling my surname several times!!)

In the end, he went off to speak with someone, came back and said the number should be working and he doesn't know why not. He put me through to Disney Dining Reservations (still hoping I was on free call!!!!) Anyway... booked upto 13th with a lovely American lady called Michelle. Got CP for 8:05am and Tusker House for 6:50pm (so park will be closed when we finish - just love walking through AK when it's empty!)

Couldn't book Dessert Party (she says it only loads 90 days in advance) and she claims no times loaded for Hoop for 13th (had to take her word for it!)

Got all the times we wanted for all others, including Le Cellier @ 7pm!

Good luck to all those who are trying! It's a little frustrating.

Slight understatement, its VERY frustrating :rotfl2:

I rang again yesterday for 3rd time, bit of a waste of time as I tried booking Hoop, I should have checked online first as they are only loaded until 6th August, we want the 10th.
I cancelled Narcoossees while on the phone, decided to do Raglan Rd & Paradiso 37 intead, I just can't spend 2 credits on 1 meal again, they are not worth it to us.
Never tried an 0800 number, I always ring direct to Disney dining US using Telediscount, costs 1p/min. No problem finding my res(booked with CO) that way.
We had a meal at Yak & Yeti last year so we could leave in an empty park only problem we found was the place was half empty and they were cleaning up around us getting ready to close.

The number I used was 0800 16 90 730 ; the guy on here put me onto dining reservations (will let you know when the bill is in!!!)

I managed to book our first 10 days ADRs (3-13 August) yesterday on-line, and the ADRs are appearing against our reservation. That said, it does seem to be hit and miss if the system shows them or not - I tried checking them today on another PC, and couldn't locate them!! However, after re-entering our 8 digit reservation number and searching for missing reservations, the ADRs were then found.

Only problem I have, as with others, is waiting for Hoop de Doo dates beyond August 6th - I feel much Disney website gazing coming on for the next few days!!

I've been having major problems booking our ADR's for 180+10 days as well. We can call up our SSR reservation but it will not accept the same number for our dining reservations. I e-mailed DVC member services yesterday about this issue and here is their response:

"We appreciate your interest in dining at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort.
We apologize for any inconvenience. The WALT DISNEY WORLD IT Department
is aware of our Members having challenges in confirming their dining
reservations online at the 180 days window. They are working on
correcting the issue. We do not know when this issue will be corrected.
In the meantime, you can call Member Services to arrange any of your
dining reservations."

Not a great solution - so we are now making ours on a daily basis as well.
