ADR's at same time, but different parks?

Did I read somewhere that the system won't let you make ADRs at the same time in different locations? I don't expect to know until the night before, maybe even that morning, which of 2 parks we're going to. So I was considering making ADRs at a resturaunt in each park, then cancel the one we're not going to use when we get to the park we choose. But can we do that? Or must we choose ADRs in only one of the parks and eat CS if we go to the other park?

Yes, the system will not allow you to make two reservations at the same time. In my case, I had two reservations within a half an hour of one another and it still told me there was a conflict. I guess they do this to avoid people booking too many reservations and then not showing.

yes, this just took effect a few weeks ago. I can see where it helps. I have been trying endlessly to make a reservation at a couple of different restaurants for my friends upcoming vacation this fall mid week during a quieter time without any luck.

there is a way around it, but i don't think you're allowed to post it on a thread. it was mentioned in previous ones, however. i would really just look at the calendars, as EMH and parades/shows have already been scheduled, to try to make your choice easier
