ADRs are finally booked!

Woohoo! I could have done this a few days ago, but thanks to the fact we have a split stay that is taken as two separate bookings, I had to wait until today to do the last few days of holiday.

Anyway, I have finally managed to sort everything out, and have even managed to get a better day and time for my Le Cellier booking. Originally wanted the 11th for dinner, but there was only one space the whole day - at 14:05 Now, we are going there on our last night, which will be a brilliant way to end the holiday. So here we go:

50's Prime Time Cafe (dinner)*

We've got a couple of new restaurants to try this time around (denoted by the *s), so that will be interesting. We all chose one restaurant each, and then Cape May was somewhere we said we wanted to try last year after our Dis Meet at Beaches and Cream!

Well Done are you dancing with joy now you've got them made? I know I was on Tuesday after I rang them and got almost all of ours I'm easily pleased with things like holiday plans as long as it fits in somewhere. You have some great restaurants booked. I've still got to sort out 2 character breakfasts and two dinners but they will be done by the weekend. It's a great feeling to finally have everything organised isn't it

It was definitely a relief! Now I have discovered the drawbacks of split stays - having to wait yet again for the 90-day window to come around! haha

We've broken ours up a bit too but that's due to the fact we're trying to fit in two separate days at US and IOA. We love the rides and shows there too and it would be a shame to miss them out again so I think we'll end up using a CS Credit for each of those nights. You may actually have netter luck with your other ADRs since they are, I take it, later in your stay. Possibly there could be less guests trying to nab those ADRS so here's a little

We've got two days out as well - one to SeaWorld and one to US/IOA. Then we do have a third day where we have nothing planned, so if we want, we can go do a half day at US/IOA, then half day at SeaWorld! We are getting 2-year passes for SeaWorld, so can go when we like! yay!

We're not on the dining plan, which is a blessed relief! We're gonna do the meal deal option at US/IOA, so that day is taken care of, and then we'll just have to pay out at SW, but we will get 10% off due to APs!

Because we have a split DVC stay, the bookings come under two difference reservations number. Since this is the case, when I phoned at 90days out for when we arrive, I could only book the ADRs up until we checked out according to that booking. Then I had to wait again for 90-days out for the second stay. We have ADRs right through from our first full day, to our last day, but thankfully they are all taken care of!

Wow I thought we were organised this year I could learn a few more things still. Let me know at the meet how your holiday is going and any new things you've tried. I've always wanted to try a split stay but never had the chance yet but there will always be other trips we could attempt to do it I guessDH likes to unpack once and not have to worry about the cases again until the night before we fly home again. I don't blame him he's on the go constantly at work and home so he deserves some bliss and relaxation when we are on vacation.

Hope you don't mind me asking this, was it hard to organise a split stay?

I am doing them day by day online, so far I have go Cape May for breakfast and Le Cellier for dinner (5pm).

How come you're not ringing up and doing +10 days? Is there a method to doing them daily that I don't know about?

no, I want to do them online, last year I almost didn't get into CP as they spelt my surname with a K instead of a C. I not going for any hard to get ones apart from Le Cellier which I got.

Okay, fair enough! Although, surely the ADRs were linked to your reservation, even if it's VH package. So, surely all your ADRs would have been wrongly spelled? We always get a print out at check-in of our ARDs so we can check for things like that! Make sure the right places are at the right times on the right days! lol
