ADRs and party size ???

we are a party of three, 2 adults one child(2 years old)- I read a few places that if they say no availability for a party of 3 to ask for a party of 4- is that true? does it make a difference? wouldn't it all be the same size table? Thanks!

That's actually true. My DH and I just got back about a month ago from our honeymoon. When I couldn't get an ADR for 2 at Le Cellier the entire 10 days we were there, I asked if they had any for 3. Lo and behold, I was able to pick just about any date we were there. When we checked in, the hostess just made a joke about the marriage with the third person not having worked out and it was no issue that we were missing a person. So I would definitely see if it works for you! Good luck!

It does work we are a party of 3 and did this last year to get in to Le Cellier

Yep..I asked for a party of 3 and there was none , so i asked "What about a party of 4?" I was then given an option .If they give you a hard time ,call back.
