ADRs and kind of split reservations?

This stems off the other ADR thread. We will have technically 2 poly stays booked in the same room category. The first 5 days I booked with my poly points then at 7 months I will be adding on another 3 nights. If in the same room category can MS merge to one reservation? Would that solve the split stay problem? Or still really considered a split?

MS should be able to combine the two reservations, assuming they are booked from the same membership. If/When they do, it should appear as one continuous reservation.

If MS cannot do that, just call them after you make the ADRs for the first 5 days. It's unlikely that you would be shut out of your preferences for the last 3 days in just an hour (unless it's for V&A. I've never tried for that one, but I hear it's really a tough one to get)..

at 7 mo you should be able to use the modify function to add the additional 3 nights to the original reservation. But if you would rather make a new reservation, be sure to call MS and have the 2 linked.

That's right! I totally was thinking I would have to book the last 3 nights as a separate reservation. The modification feature should work to make it one reservation.
