ADRs and infant, should I include him?

My son will be 10 months old in Disney. Should I be including him in my ADR? If I include him, then our party size would go from 4 to 5. Would this make it harder get reservations with a party of 5 v. 4?

I will be traveling with a newborn in October, and I called Disney to ask the same question. They said yes to def. include the newborn in the count for ADR's. It has something to do with fire code and number of people in the restaurants at any given time. This would also allow for them to replace a chair with a highchair at a table too, if needed.

Yes, definitely. On our last trip we made an ADR with another family who had an infant and were told we had to. It may be harder to get the reservation, but better that than to find that you can't be seated once you're there.

Definitely. I traveled with my first at 18 months and 2 years. I also just got back this week with a 3 month old. They take up space at the table with either a high chair or sling. Otherwise, they will have to go in the isle and that can be a fire hazard or impossible due to space issues.

YES!

A lot of disney restaurants are typically full at all times, thus you will be sat at a table for the size of your party. If you book a family of 4, you will be sat at a table with 4 chairs, that very well might not have room for a highchair or stroller.

yep, we had a 7 month old last year when we went & they said we definitely needed to include her in the ADR -- we risked not being seated if we showed up with more people than the reservation was for.
