adrs and christmas

we are staying offsite for christmas at wdw this year. that means we can't make an adr for christmas day dinner until sep 26 (90 days) we want to eat at 1900 park fare for christmas dinner. do you think i have a chance of getting a ressie for this night? i know that if you stay onsite you get a better chance of getting the ressies you want because you get the 90 + 10 window.

i am making 1st and 2nd and 3rd choices for our christmas dinner but we really only want resort meals to avoid the parks totally.

what other resorts have good meals at christmas? i have my heart set on 1900 park fare but what 2nd and 3rd choices are there?

we have in our party...a 11 month old, a 2 year old, a 4 year old, a 6 year old, a 13 year old, a 16 year old, a 33 year old, a 35 year old, a 48 year old and a 64 year old.

Hello there. Here is my two cents...

I think that you may need to be flexible. Not only are you looking at Christmas Day, but you're also a group of 10 people. That might be a problem.

1900 Park Fare isn't going to be the first on everyone's list, but it will be a popular choice. Like you mentioned, be ready with a second and third choice and try to be flexible with the time of day. Whispering Canyon Cafe almost always has a great holiday meal and great wine...that could be a good option.

Also, keep in mind that you should keep calling in case an opening comes up.
