ADRs And 2 Parties

There's two families going to WDW. Party of 5 and Party of 2. Hopefully all goes well and there no last minute cancellation (which has happened in the past).

To avaoid losing ADRs, we are each booking are own ADRs (for same time and place).

Can we note that we want the tables together or near each other?

I am not sure if there is anyway to link them. The only thing I can suggest is showing up a bit early to your adr and letting the host/hostess know you would like to sit together.

As far as I know, there's no way to link 2 reservations. As the PP noted, show up early and ask at the podium if it's possible. Depending on what time of year you are going, what time of day, how busy the restaurant is at that moment, how long you are willing to wait, they may or may not be able to accomodate your request. In the end, if they can't accomodate your request, would you be willing to sit far apart from each other?
