ADR without tickets?

Is it possible to make an ADR if staying off-site and don't have tickets yet?

Yes you don't need to prove you have tickets to make the ADR!

Anyone, with or without tickets, can make a dining reservation 180 days before the day they want to dine.

You will eventually need tickets if the restaurant is inside a park, but if it is at a resort or Disney Springs you won't need tickets at all.

Thanks. This will be a trip of firsts...first time staying off site, first time driving (from NY!) and first time doing parks other than Disney. I'm a fish out of water!
