ADR window not open in MDE

I was in, and now I'm out. The whole system is frozen. Yet, Disney Genie is supposed to magically work. Ugh.
 
We booked today successfully, this is what we did. On computer make sure you are signed in, at top of page pick things to do, make reservations, select the date you want and number of people and time (still at the top of page) then a list of restaurants that are available will show. Then choose the restaurant and you will be shown times available, pick the one you want. Repeat for next date. Cumbersome but works. We snagged Ohana, Topolino, Oga's, Toledo, Chef Arts, etc. Good luck

Don't just go to the restaurant with the arrow and then try to pick dates, it did not work for me.
And constantly check you are signed in.

Tuesdays are notoriously known for troubles with making ADRs first thing in the morning. Good luck.

My 60-day window is 2 weeks away (and on a Tuesday), and I'm a little nervous.

I'm in high-integrity software engineering - think things you absolutely do not want to have fail...ever... airplanes, healthcare, etc. Everytime I interact with Disney software, I cringe and wonder what are they doing behind the scenes?!
 

Click on the restaurant and use the availability tool from inside the individual page. Had this same issue previously
 
Have you tried to go through an incognito tab? It could be your cookies. I had to alternate with incognito tab this morning (I had a different glitch).
My ADR day was this morning and this was the only thing that worked for me. Logging out/in on a regular browser didn’t help.
 
I’m used to Disney’s systems being awful and I suck it up and call when there’s an issue. That said, when I start paying extra for Genie+ I’m going to be far less patient if it doesn’t work.
This morning I had to call in and was told that there’s a known issue with Swolphin reservations. Kind of weird since we didn’t have an issue on our previous stay. And if it’s a well known issue why not fix it?
 
Hello all! Our window opens tomorrow for our stay starting 10/24. Can anyone tell me his this works? Can I book for my entire stay tomorrow(5 day trip) or do I have to come back each day? My BLT reservation is linked to my DME so it should know I’m staying until the 29th right? Is the app better or should I sign on the website and do as MY VIEW suggested above?( Thank you by the way!!)

I just want to maximize my effort tomorrow. Oh and what time can I start this??

You can book ADRs for your entire 5 day stay starting at 5:45 or 6am EST tomorrow. I would use the desktop website & be logged into your MDE account. I don't mind the app, but it seems to be more flaky than the desktop interface.

Yes, you can book your entire trip tomorrow at 6AM EST.

I've found the website is WAY more reliable than the app.

A few tips:

If the main page is showing restaurants as unavailable, try searching within the individual restaurant you want.
Search by specific time , not breakfast/lunch/dinner
Book your harder to get reservations at the end of your trip if possible, will give you higher likelihood of getting them.

I had issues with Swolphin ADR window a MONTH ago. A month late I cannot believe Disney hasn't done jack :headache:
