ADR wait-what to do?

I've been reading posts on here about long waits past ADR times and I wonder, are you given a pager? I have a 6:45 ADR for O'hana. If I check in and they are running behind, will I be able to walk around and look at the resort until our table is ready?
How about other restaurants?

All of the TS restaurants where we ate last month and in December had pagers.
