ADR update please! :)

Hi all. We haven't been since Sept. 2008, and are hoping to go back Aug. 2010. Haven't there been some changes to making ADRs?? Can you do them online now I believe? How far out? I thought it was 6 months out...but what if you don't have a hotel reservation yet? My point being we were going to wait to see if they release free dining...but at that point will I be pass the 180 days? Thanks for any help!

We already made our reservations(room and tickets) for Sept in hopes of free dining. If they don't release free dining we can always cancel our reservations.
