ADR Timing

I have two ADR's for Nov 20th. I have a 7:00 at Cape May Cafe and a 9:00 at Beaches and Cream for for some sundaes. Is that enough time to eat at Cape May and have a little time before Beaches, or should I try and get an earlier dinner reservation? TIA

I would do them on 2 different days. Cape May is a buffet so I couldn't imagine being hungry for sundaes an hour later. Even with a Cape May reservation at opening I still wouldn't want sundaes the same night. :)

Good point. We'll have to do it another time. Thanks for the input. We might just do it earlier in the day on our check out.

I agree. I cannot imagine wanting sundaes after Cape May. That just sounds miserable.

But if you really want to do both in the same night, I would space them out more. I wouldn't plan on being out of Cape May before 8:30.

Beaches and Cream is well themed and a difficult ADR to get. I too believe that an earlier buffet time might be too much food. But if this is where you want to go, adjust your dinner plans for a lighter meal.

On the other hand, if your real desire is Cape May for seafood buffet, as others have mentioned - why spend extra for dessert?

But if you must - Fountain inside Dolphin is about 1/2 mile stroll to other side of Boardwalk and might give enough time to walk-off a buffet dinner. While Fountain is not well themed, the ice cream may be a bit better. Fountain has option of table/counter service or take-a-way. Of course, there is ice cream along the Boardwalk too, albeit, without table service.

Those are great ideas. We might just a stroll around the Boardwalk and if we want to get ice cream, we'll get some. I just heard about Beaches and Cream, but it's not a must do for us....this trip. ;) Gives me a good reason to go back again :cool1:
